HiBy RS8 DAP

The RS8 employs HiBy's second-generation Darwin R2R architecture, featuring a discrete resistor ladder DAC with 92 resistors per channel and 0.005% precision resistance. This design supports native 1-bit PCM decoding and offers advanced features such as adjustable FIR filters, switchable oversampling/non-oversampling modes, and DSD bypass. The device supports PCM up to 1536kHz and DSD up to DSD1024, along with full MQA 16x unfolding.

Amplification is handled by a dual operational Class A and Class AB mode, utilizing two dedicated OP1652 professional-grade op-amps and eight NXP dual bipolar transistors. This configuration aims to reduce distortion and enhance clarity and power in the sound output.

Encased in a monocoque pure titanium chassis, the RS8 combines durability with elegance. The device measures 143 x 82 x 22 mm and weighs approximately 584g, making it a substantial yet portable option for high-fidelity audio on the go.
