LAiV's Harmony DAC is a bold entrant into the R2R world. While no stranger to the R2R topology, LAiV's culminated years of experience has resulted in an awesome sounding purist and modern sounding R2R DAC. In terms of sound, the Harmony DAC has a slightly warm yet energetic sound. Expect crisp edges accompaying a large and wide soundstage that feels incredibly realistic and helps both IEMs and Headphones to take on a soundstage closer to 2ch speakers. There's really not much more to say other than the fact that this is one great sounding DAC that does not conform to the stereotype that R2R DACs tend to sound mushy, warm and undefined. This DAC defines what modern R2R implementations should strive for. Beautifully accurate timbre, crisp attack, great dynamics without any sterility.
Do note that the Harmony DAC's output impedance is on the higher side due to the lack of a buffer for purist reasons. Make sure your amplifier's input impedance is sufficiently high (at least over 12k Ω).
